Montreal-based artist and producer Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (one half of Jerusalem In My Heart) works at the crossroads of history and futurism, visual art and music, publishing and performance.
Together with acclaimed Polish experimental collective BNNT, he recorded the collaborative album A Faithful Daughter in Montreal, pairing the group's most subdued textures with Moumneh's voice and blending drone and noise with fragile song structures.
The album is set for release on the Lebanese label Ruptured this September, and their Changeover performance in Belgrade will be the work's live premiere.
This performance is co-presented by MUTEK, with the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec
