Veles is a trio hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria, blending several genres in a very particular way - their folk influences originate as much from slavic folk music (mostly apparent through the vocals and lyrics) as they do from more western forms of folk music, shown through their very British Wyrd folk-adjacent instrumentation. 

All that is blended with field recordings and the spacious and ethereal feel of post-rock, ambient and drone music, which is then further fused with more abrasive sounds, borrowing from harsh noise and industrial.
