Slicr are a five-piece from Sofia's restless underground. With an average age of twenty, the band carries the impulsive electricity of youth filtered through a startlingly assured aesthetic — dream-pop haze, shoegaze grit, lo-fi indie intimacy, and a DIY spirit sharpened by real musical literacy.
Their sound feels like a Polaroid of twenty-something disorientation — fragile, intimate, ironic, and wide open. Slicr write with an urgency that borders on generational, turning personal anxiety into something communal and strangely triumphant.
Their debut EP arrives this spring, followed by a Changeover Festival performance — and later in the year, a trip to London to record their debut album with Grammy Award-winning engineer Cecil "Adam" Bartlett.
