The alterego for the high priestess diva of eeriness is VíZ!
VíZ is a solo project of Hungarian Transylvanian multidisciplinary artist Réka Csiszér. The ghostly howls, screeching sounds, and macabre extravaganza of films by David Lynch and Bela Tarr, as well as the aesthetics of European folk horror and noir, mould the sound and performative presence of VíZ.
The post-industrial soundscapes she creates, infused by her tantalizing vocal, evoke ritualistic incantations and lead a listener into a state of melancholy and existential dread.
