Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an art-pop tender-noise band anchored between introspective restraint and raw release. Formed in Cape Town in 2015 by South African singer-songwriter Lucy Kruger, the project found its distinctive, ephemeral shape after relocating to Berlin in 2018. Kruger’s voice — equal parts grit and grace, whisper and howl — cuts through a haunted post-punk terrain alongside Liú Mottes (guitar), Jean-Louise Parker (viola), Gidon Carmel (drums) and Andreas Bonkowski (bass), drawing comparisons to Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.

Across the acclaimed Tapes Trilogy (2019–2022), Heaving (2023) and A Human Home (2024), the band has built a body of work defined by emotional precision and sonic risk. Their seventh album, Pale Bloom, released and toured in 2026, is their most glistening and emotive yet.

Now the band returns to Belgrade for the first time since their glorious show at Karmakoma a couple of years ago.
